Here’s your chance to play Garden Warfare 2 five days before its release date. Five days before its release date happens to be February 18, which is right today. What do you have to do to get in on the action? It’s simple, you’ll need a subscription to EA Access (on Xbox One) or Origin Access (on PC). Sorry PlayStation 4 owners, you’re out of luck.
If you have a subscription to EA Access, or Origin Access, you will be able to download and play the full game, but your play time will be restricted to 10 hours, so you’ll have to make the most of it (I suggest closing the game when you’re not playing it, instead of letting it idle in the background).
All content will be unlocked, and you can get to playing the 24-player Herbal Assault mode as well. What’s more, any progress and levelling-up you do while playing the 10-hour trial will carry over when the game officially launches on the 23rd, so you won’t lose any play progress at all. And best of all, if you do decide to buy the game, you get a 10% discount ($54 instead of $60).
Will you be going after those plants (or zombies) with EA or Origin Access? Or are you waiting for Garden Warfare 2 to release in five days? Let us know in the comments below.
