PlayStation 4 Firmware Update 4.55
Last week saw the latest PlayStation 4 Firmware Update 4.55. As compared to the previous PlayStation 4 Firmware updates, this one didn’t offer much. But, it offered some critical improvements to the console and enhanced the performance.
Upon the launch of new PS4 Firmware Update 4.55, Sony released an official statement that suggests that the Update 4.55 improves the quality of system performance.

No Man’s Sky Update
Another one of the past week’s big news involves the No Man’s Sky Update. No Man’s Sky has received a number of big and small updates in the past. A number of other new updates are currently in works. All the new upcoming updates will follow the new update patch 1.24 on PS4, Hello Games confirms. However, the haven’t yet released info on when the game’s foundation updates will end.
Until the foundation updates are coming in, fans will expectedly see more updates and new content released for the game. The pathfinder Update is the latest one that introduces a lot of new content in the game. New content includes various Planetary vehicles, Base sharing, PS4 Pro support, new Weapons, Ship Specializations, and various Permadeath modes. A number of other things have also been added to the game that includes various items, character modification options, and stuff.
Hello games released the patch notes for the update as well as ruled out that they are not yet done with the updates. They further said to the players that the recent content drops are actually paving the way for game’s future.
The Last of Us Teaser, and Revealed Details
Another big news of the past week includes latest details revealed for the much-hyped game The Last of Us 2. The game hasn’t yet got a release date on PS4 but more and more info is slowly coming out, that’s creating hype among the players.
Naughty Dog, the developer of The Last of Us has recently shared new information about the game. Last week we heard that Shanon Westwood, a Westworld actress joined the team to work on the game. Shanon will reportedly play the role of Elsie in the game. However, her character isn’t yet confirmed by naughty Dog.
Shanon Woodward revealed the info on Twitter and posted a snap with The Last Of Us 2 creative director Neil Druckmann. Her Tweet reads
“I am embarrassingly over-excited here because I’m peaking. @Neil_Druckmann is letting me act in The Last Of Us: Part II .”
Fans will be delighted to know that Shanon Woodward isn’t the only one from Westworld who is joining The Last of Us 2 team. Westworld’s lead writer Halley Gross is also joining the team of The Last of Us 2. She will reportedly be writing the game’s story with Neil Druckmann.
Some other information on the game has also been revealed recently during the motion capture footage filming procedure at the game’s studio. Neil Druckman once again took it to twitter where he revealed that Ashley Johnson and Tory Backer will also be joining the team. He posted new pictures as well.
The two newly revealed team members will be playing the characters of Joel and Ellie. Both of these characters are also game’s protagonists as well.
Another round of info suggests that the Horseback fighting sequences will also be making a return from the original game. It will further be widely expanded in the game.
Another Gif image was also posted on twitter by Druckmann, that shows Shanon Woodward holding a deadly looking weapon prop. Druckmann gave the image a caption that says
“I’m a little uncomfortable with the ease that @shannonwoodward took to that machete.”
The Last of use is expected to get a release date on the upcoming E3 Gaming Expo. Fans can expect the game to be launching sometime in 2018 near the time of Christmas.
