PowerColor today unveiled its new member of DEVIL graphics card family. The name of the new card is PowerColor Red Devil RX 480 8GB GDDR5, it has 8 gigs of vRAM, an RX 480 GPU made in GloFO 14nm FinFet production process, and a 256-bit memory interface.
The card has a serious cooling solution; three 80mm 2-ball bearing fans are responsible for keeping the temperature as low as possible, the technology used is called Double Blade III and it should keep dust from entering and staying in the fans. As with all RX 480 cards, Red Devil supports DX 12, Vulkan API, Liquid VR, and FreeSync.
The card is equipped with 2304 stream processors and its core clock is 1330 MHz. Red Devil is the ultimate budget solution for VR, and it also offers incredible performance for the price of just $269. It’s worth mentioning that RX 480 Red Devil is equipped with one 8-pin power connector and 6+1 multi-phase; it’s also suitable for overclocking with its Bios switch, and a there’s also a backplate for increased safety. The card is equipped with one DVI-D, one HDMI, and three DisplayPort display connectors.
PowerColor Red Devil RX 480 8GB GDDR5 will be available starting July 29 with the price tag of $269.
