Last week was one of the most exciting ones as a number of amazing news came out about PS4. We saw the release of much-awaited Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 DLC 5 – Zombies Chronicles release, For Honor major update became available, Destiny 2 gameplay was revealed and the Beta release news followed it shortly after. In addition, the launch date of Elite Dangerous announcement also came out last week. These are some of the big news that appeared on the web last week. Let’s have a detailed look at what we were entertained to this past week.
Zombies Chronicles Release
The biggest news of the past week was the release on much-awaited and highly anticipated Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 DLC 5 – Zombies Chronicles. The Zombies Chronicles released on May 16, 2017, on PS4. It’s available in $32.41 in the US and £24.99 in the UK. Fans can purchase the game from online PlayStation store.
The COD: BO3 DLC 5 Zombies Chronicles offers in total eight remastered maps and it is about 15 GB in size. The DLC 5 offer remastered maps from three major Call of Duty series games such as Call of Duty: World at War, Call of Duty: Black Ops, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. Following is the detail of the maps that the Zombies Chronicles offers.
The Zombies Chronicles will include maps such as;
COD: World at War: Nacht Der Untoten, Verrukt, and Shi No Num
Call of Duty: Black Ops: Kino Der Toten, Ascension, Shangri-la, and Moon

In addition, The Zombies Chronicles offers some fantastic new updates as well. These new updates include revamped current generation visuals, enhanced lighting, character model revamps, and updated game Ai, and environments. For Honor Season 2 Update 1.07 DLC
Another one of the big news for last week was the new update for the For Honor Season 2. The For Honor Season 2 Update 1.07 DLC brought in some of the much-needed changes to the game along with new maps, hero characters, and an expanded Faction War. In addition, the new Update 1.07 also made some changes to the in-game economic system, game’s controls, and XP. Players can now have more XP by defeating the enemies in the PvP matches.
For Honor Season 2 Update 1.07 DLC also brought in the Epic Gear into the game as well. According to Ubisoft in their blog post, players are now able to have a new rarity in the game that is named as Epic. This rarity is available via collecting the loot after winning the battles or it can also be found in the crates. The Epic Gear is also now available in both Previous visuals and stats.
Furthermore, some stats tweaks and visual balance changes are also part of this new For Honor Season 2 Update 1.07 DLC. The Faction War map is also updated with more new territories. New characters are also now fully available including the most hyped ones such as the Centurion (Knight Hybrid) and Shinobi (Samurai Assassin). Destiny 2 Gameplay and Beta Reveal
During the past week, The Destiny 2 Gameplay reveal also took place and shortly after that the Beta announcement made waves on the web. The Destiny 2 gameplay reveal took place on May 18th, 2017. A special live stream was also aired of the game for all major gaming platforms such as PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Bungie live streamed the Destiny 2 gameplay on both the Destiny 2 Official Website and Their Twitch Channel. A lot of game’s story details, characters, some of the weapons, and armor was also showcased along with various other gameplay details. Once again, the developer confirmed the game’s release date which is set for September 2017.
Destiny 2 developer Bungie also promised a Beta game for all the fans but they never revealed any release date for the Beta. According to the latest reports, Destiny 2 Beta that was supposed to come out in past 2, 3 days, have delayed to an undisclosed date. Furthermore, there is no news about what type of content and how much of the content will the Beta offer. Elite Dangerous Launch Announcement
Another one of the past week’s big news is the Launch date announcement for the highly anticipated Elite Dangerous. Elite Dangerous was scheduled to release in 2017 but no final release date was announced for the game. Last week the developer Frontier Developments announced the final launch date for the game. Now all the fans know that the game will launch on June 27, 2017.
The game will launch on PlayStation 4 first and the rest of the gaming platforms will follow soon. The Elite Dangerous was announced last year and that’s when the developer promised that it will take full advantage of the PS4 and PS4 Pro capabilities.
The Retail version of the game will also release in June 2017 as scheduled. It will be offered in markets worldwide named as Elite Dangerous: Legendary Edition.
