Some PlayStation 4 games will be receiving VR and there’s good news for their owners. They will be receiving the VR upgrade for free. Each game was expected to have a priced VR upgrade. Now it appears a lot of games owners will be getting their VR upgrade for free.
More PlayStation 4 VR games are on the way
Many companies have jumped the VR bandwagon and are willing to provide the upgrade to their consumer base for free. Some of these VR games include Hustle Kings VR, a pool game set in a bar. Pool Nation VR is a similar game that allows players to not only play pool but partake in other activities as well. These activities include side games such as darts. Or if you’re not a fan of pool, you can simply mess around the bar and keep changing the jukebox. The beautiful adventure game Bound will also get VR. EA’s competitive multiplayer shooter Star Wars Battlefront will receive VR support free of charge.
Meanwhile, the upcoming Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Years Celebration and Final Fantasy XV will have VR support on launch. Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Years Celebration is Square Enix’s anniversary game for next-gen consoles and PC. The game adds a new chapter to Lara’s adventures. This includes Lara’s family mansion overrun by the Undead. Square Enix promises an entirely new experience for players through the addition of VR. Meanwhile, Final Fantasy XV is another upcoming Square Enix title which promises a completely different experience through the addition of VR but several people have complained that the VR is oversimplified.
