Sony’s PlayStation app for Android allows users to browse and access PlayStation community and PlayStation Store on their android smartphone. The app lets you stay in touch with your gaming friends and see what they are up to. The app lets you push games from PlayStation Store to your PS4 system so that the games are ready to be played when you reach home. It lets you manage your gaming profile and recent activities, you can chat with your friends; receive notifications, game alerts, and invitations directly on your device and you won’t ever miss any activity from your PlayStation.
Through the official PlayStore app for Android, you can Browse PlayStation Store, pick-up the latest hit games and add-ons anytime anywhere and then push them directly to your PS4 system so that they are ready when you get home.
It also mirrors your PS4 activity through the in-app second-screen features, when available, for greater challenges and control and users can also use their mobile device as an on-screen keyboard for their PS4 system. The app requires a Sony Entertainment Network account and PS4 system to use all of this application’s features.
The PlayStation APK has recently received a new update (version 3.20.0 (51)) with added stability and some of the features have been improved. The new update is available for all devices running Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and above and is only of 7.82 MB.
