If you haven’t seen enough of Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ already, we have another treat for your eyes. A fully functional, up and running, Gold variant of Samsung’s upcoming flagship has leaked in live images. Until now, we have been treated to the black color Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+, but the new images show how the Samsung Galaxy S8+ looks in gold.
Samsung has scheduled a March 29 event for the launch of its upcoming flagships, but it seems too much has leaked before the official announcement. According to the reliable tipster, Roland Quandt, the Galaxy S8, and S8+ will come in three color variants – violet, silver, and black, but the latest leak adds a good surprise in the mix. The new leaked color variant seems a genuine deal with all the sensors in the right places. Following is another picture in the same color, next to the smaller sibling in White. Sadly, no back images were leaked today, however. But, we assume all will be pretty much the same, as noted in earlier leaks.
As visible in the images, the new interface has ditched the hardware button in favor of onscreen shortcuts. There is a noticeable difference in the size of the smartphones, hence, they will be targeting a different audience. At such a pace of leaks, it will be interesting to see if Samsung can pull any surprises at the last moment.
As far as the specifications are concerned, Samsung Galaxy S8 variants will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC. The Korean giant has booked the entire first stock of Snapdragon 835 chips for its upcoming flagship. And that’s the very reason, LG G6 launched with Snapdragon 821. All the leaks show a highly powerful and well-designed flagship offering, hence, Samsung be able to rest its case with the Note7 debacle.
