Pebble has announced two new smartwatches, which will available later this year. The Pebble 2 + Heart Rate has been priced at $129.99 [approx. Rs. 8,700], while the Pebble 2 SE costs $99.99 [approx. Rs. 6,700].
The Pebble 2 + Heart Rate comes with a heart rate sensor that allows you to monitors your heart rate during various physical activities. It is optimized for the company’s Pebble Health app. The smartwatch comes with an inbuilt Workout app. It also tracks your sleeping patterns. It also allows you to choose the apps that can send notifications to your phone. The new smartwatch comes with water resistance up to 30 metres. The company claims that the battery on Pebble 2 can last up to seven days. It comes in five colors and is now available for pre-orders. The shipments will start from this month.
Pebble smartwatches were launched back in 2012. The company introduced the Pebble 2 and Time 2 on Kickstarter in May. Both smartwatches have been slightly re-branded and launched for regular buyers. The Pebble 2 SE [Standard Edition] comes in Jet Black, and will be available from November. It comes without a heart rate sensor.
“Pebble Health automatically detects long walks, runs, and naps, feeding you a performance summary when you’re finished. Dive deeper into your stats with beautiful in-app graphs. Tap and drag on your mobile graphs for targeted views of your step and heart rate stats at specific times. Sync with Google Fit or Apple’s HealthKit to paint an even clearer picture of your overall well-being,” the company stated in an official blog.
