Park Bo Gum, the South Korean actor who is known for his diverse range of roles in movies and television, rose to stardom with his role of Joseon Crown Prince in Love in the Moonlight (Moonlight Drawn by Clouds). Park Bo-gum as Lee Yeong is the only son of the King and heir to the throne. Moonlight Drawn by Clouds is a coming-of-age story about 19-year old Lee Yeong’s growth from a boy to a revered monarch and his unlikely relationship with 18-year old eunuch Hong Ra-on. The actor recently made an appearance on Infinite Challenge.
Park Bo Gum gets a hearty welcome from Infinity Challenge members
Park Bo Gum’s guest appearance on MBC’s Infinite Challenge during the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympic on April 8 was very well received. The cast of Infinite Challenge had a great time playing sports such as curling and bobsleigh. When playing some of the sports that required even number of players, the crew found themselves short of one member. Park Bo Gum readily agreed to fill in the empty spot.
The crew members showed their excitement and enthusiasm when Park Bo Gum finally appeared on the show. Park Bo Gum expressed his thoughts about being on the show and said he was glad that his first appearance on MBC is with Infinite Challenge cast.
“It is an honor. This is my first time being on MBC and I’m so glad it is with ‘Infinite Challenge.’ I am a big fan of the show, so this feels like a dream to me.”

Park Bo Gum was recently nominated for Best Actor category for 53rd Baeksang Art Awards. The actor has been nominated for his role in Moonlight Drawn By Clouds. Joining him for the nominations are Gong Yoo for Goblin, Namgoong Min for Chief Kim, Han Suk Kyu for Romantic Doctor Kim and Jo Jung Suk for Jealousy Incarnate.
