Apple has finally released iOS 9.2 officially for the public after playing around with four betas. However, this is not an exciting news for iOS jailbreak lovers, who are actually waiting for an iOS 9.2 jailbreak. Well, if you are among those jailbreak enthusiasts, you will be happy to hear that some new rumors suggest that the Pangu 9.2 jailbreak will be coming out soon.
More than a month ago, iOS 9.1 had patched the exploits used in the Pangu 9 jailbreak. Thus iOS 9.1 and iOS 9.2 remain unjailbroken till date. Rumors (along with an educated guess) say that the Pangu team did have an iOS 9.1 jailbreak in their kitty, but they did not release it as it would have given Apple the opportunity of patching the exploits again.
It would thus be appropriate to say that Pangu has been waiting for the official public release of iOS 9.2. The four iOS 9.2 betas and iOS 9.1 has given Pangu enough time to work out new jailbreak exploits. And now that iOS 9.2 is out, we should expect the Pangu 9.2 jailbreak any time soon.
A tipster called @EverythingApplesPro had tweeted a couple of days back that Pangu has successfully produced a jailbreak tool for Windows that works with iOS 9.1 and iOS 9.2 betas, and the team is waiting for Apple to release iOS 9.2 to make sure nothing is patched. Normally, we would pay no heed to such tweets, but this particular tweet is 100% believable, completely logical, and goes in line with our logical guesses.
Pangu hasn’t responded to any of the rumors, but we’re sure that the Pangu iOS 9.2 jailbreak is on its way already. We should be expecting the surprise release within a week or so.
