Blizzard has just released the latest PTR update and the much-awaited character of Doomfist is finally out on PC, but fans are disappointed. For the masses of fans, this is not at all a good news as they have discovered that the Doomfist isn’t Voiced Over by Terry Crews.
This is a huge blow to the Overwatch, and particularly the Doomfist fans, who were expecting that the character of Doomfist will be voiced over by Terry Crews as he himself tweeted earlier and hinted it out. According to Terry Crews on Twitter;
Who wants to hear me do the voice of Doomfist for real?
Well, this isn’t what just happened and it has created a huge debate among the Overwatch and overall the gaming circles over the web. Blizzard as well hinted it out in the past that Terry Crews will be voicing the character of Doomfist. However, they have taken a sudden turn and hired a veteran actor Sahr Ngaujah instead, reports PvP Live.
As this is a PTR (Public Test Region) update, fans are waiting for the full update release on PS4 and Xbox One. It is highly likely that Blizzard will make some changes and balance tweaks just ahead of the full update launch. So, maybe they are just messing up with the fans!
Doomfist’s character is portrayed as one of the most powerful and mobile characters. This particular character is equipped with Rocket Punch and the Four-shot Hand Cannon. The advanced cybernetics make him one of the most suitable and powerful front-line fighters in the game.
According to the official description of Doomfist;
“His primary attack is the Hand Cannon; this four-shot weapon fires projectiles from Doomfist’s knuckles one a time or in a single blast.
With his secondary attack, Rocket Punch, he charges forward and delivers a devastating blow. Knocking back any opponent it connects with and dealing extra damage if the enemy is hurled into a wall.”
This remarkable playable character for Overwatch also has the ability of Seismic Slam. This special ability allows Dommfist to smash into a target, knock down the enemies and deal more damage to them. The powerful uppercut makes the enemies fly off in the air and causes serious damage.
The Passive Ability of Doomfist is probably one of his best defenses as it offers a shield against the severe enemy attacks. The Meteor Strike is the most prominent ability that the Doomfist possesses. It helps this amazing character leap high in the air and drop on a target to deal massive damage to the enemies surrounding the area.
Hopefully, this is just a prank by Blizzard pulled on the fans. As stated earlier, it’s highly likely that the full update will bring in the Doomfist voice over by Terry Crews. It should definitely cheer up all the disappointed fans.
