Oscars 2017 took place this Sunday, on February 26, and many of the biggest stars attended it. It was a night in which some went home with a statue in their hands, while others went with only disappointment. The comedian, Jimmy Kimmel hosted the ceremony. This was the first time he was hosting something big like this, and he did his job pretty well. Now that all of the funding and promotion has been done, all of the votes have been totaled and all of the awards have been distributed, it’s now time to look back at the ceremony and see who was lucky enough to win the golden statue.

The 2016 American drama film, Moonlight managed to take home the award for the Best Picture, which was presented after a few twists. Along with the award for Best Picture, Moonlight won two other awards, meaning that it won a total of three awards during Oscars 2017. La La Land on the other hand, also did pretty well. It won most awards of the ceremony. The movie was also declared the Best Picture, before Moonlight was confirmed to win the award.
