Paul Wesley Not Interested In ‘The Originals’ Season 5

In “The Vampire Diaries” Season 8 final episodes Stefan Salvatore aka Paul Wesley dies and is later on seen chilling in the heaven. However, the boyfriend of Phoebe Tonkin has ruled out such possibilities. Recently in an interview, the actor said that Stefan has been laid to rest and he is more interested in doing the opposite roles from the ones he has been doing for last eight years in the supernatural show, reports TV Guide.

The actor said that he is eager to branch out and do different things and that the fans will not see him doing any supernatural show soon. It indicates that Wesley will not be a part of “The Originals” Season 5.

Will Nina Dobrev And Ian Somerhalder Reunite In Fifth Season?

Julie Plec will take the role of the showrunner from the fifth season. According to Inquisitr, this opens up chances of a possible reunion between “The Originals” and “The Vampire Diaries” characters. With Wesley refusing to be a part of any supernatural show sooner, there is a strong possibility that Plec might approach Somerhalder for a cameo.

Incidentally, Nina Dobrev has already been confirmed to play a role in one of the episodes of “The Originals” Season 5.  So there is strong possibility that Delena may happen in the upcoming season although nothing is confirmed yet.
