“Orange Is The New Black” Season 5 will be back this week and will resume the story where the finale episode for the last season left. Fans can expect a major shift in the Litchfield Penitentiary power after the riot broke in the prison in the Season 4.

The official trailer of “Orange Is The New Black” Season 5 shows that the inmates will take over the prison. They will demand more humane and better treatment and will oppose the abusive conditions they are currently going through, reports The Christian Post.

According to the source, once the inmates gain the power, the whole scenario will suddenly become chaotic as each of them will try to find out what exactly should be done. There will be few inmates who will try to establish some amount of peace and order.

The upcoming Season 5 will have 13 episodes that will also include the three days at the Penitentiary where the inmates will try to gain control.  The last season failed to deliver the right balance between comedy and tragedy for which the show has been known so far.

So, this time along the showrunners will surely try to bring back the same essence in the “Orange Is The New Black” Season 5.

New Season To Answer Many Questions                    

According to Newsweek, Taystee will fight until death as she has nothing to lose after her best friend died in the prison. She is out there to get justice and was the one who started the riot in the first place. The next season will also answer many questions such as whether Daya (Dascha Polanco) will shoot CO Humphrey (Michael Torpey) or not.

The sneak peeks shows that Daya has indeed shot the officer. Fans can get to know more about it when the “Orange Is The New Black” Season 5 premieres on June 9, Friday on Netflix.
