Unveiled last month, the Oppo R7 is now available for pre-order globally (not for India), including US via Oppo’s official store. The phone is priced at $399 for an unlocked version and available in silver and gold colour choices. The company is also giving away a pair of iLike Speed Metal headsets during the pre-order period.
Although it is officially sold by the company, you will be required to purchase an adapter to charge the handset in US, as it comes with an European charging plug. Also, the phone does not support US LTE bands, but works on AT&T and T-Mobile’s 3G networks. If you are willing to compromise with these two issues, the Oppo R7 could be a good choice to grab.
Specs-wise, the Oppo R7 sports a 5 inch 1080p AMOLED display and runs Color OS based on Android KitKat. Powered by an octa-core 64-bit Snapdragon 615 CPU, it packs 3GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage, and a 2,320mAh battery. With a just 6.3mm thick metal body, the R7 features a 13 megapixel rear camera with an 8 megapixel front unit.
Oppo will start shipping in early next month.
