During the launch event of OPPO R7 and R7 plus today, OPPO has also announced the new version of their Color OS. This upgraded version founded on Android Lollipop is anticipated to enhance the user experience. Already we have got the beta version for OPPO’s Color OS for Find 7 and 7a, so we know what to expect from this upgrade.
UI (User Interface) is the most evident change in the Color OS. The UI design is more vivid and a lot more vibrant. Redesigned Icons and custom icons for 200 popular apps will provide a uniform look and feel across the UI. Apart from attractive interface, ColorOS has undergone lot many changes which has made it faster and responsiveness starting from reduced boot time by 12 seconds from earlier version. ColorOS 2.1 has also been optimized for faster app launches.
OPPO R7 and R7 Plus will run on Color OS2.1 and recently launched Find 7 and Find 7a will get OTA (Over-The-Air) update. However it is not clear, whether this update will be available for other OPPO handsets or not.
