A new smartphone from OPPO, codenamed A53, has been recently certified by TENAA, the Chinese regulatory agency. There are no details on the pricing and availability, but we have almost all the key specifications of the device. It is worth noting that these specs can not be confirmed, as there were instances in the past when TENAA specs were found wrong. So proceed with a grain of salt.
According to the TENAA listing, the OPPO A53 gets a 5.5-inch IPS display with 720p resolution. Powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz, the phone features 2GB of RAM along with 16GB internal storage. It measures 8.03mm and weighs 165g.
Photography enthusiasts get a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and a 13-megapixel primary snapper with LED flash. In terms of connectivity, the OPPO A53 includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.
Usually, the smartphones certified at TENAA don’t take much time to hit the market, so we expect to see the new OPPO A53 smartphone in the coming few weeks. Stay tuned for further updates.
