OnePlus has made a separate niche for itself by offering premium flagship smartphones at a fraction of the price of the big-branded flagships. The company has strictly limited itself to one flagship smartphone every year, with the only exception being the OnePlus X. The company recently launched its OnePlus 3 flagship that is already selling, and it’s selling very well. The phone is a great combination of quality and quantity as it’s loaded with features.

In the battery section, the Nexus 6P wins again with a 3450mAh power pack inside it. The OnePlus 3 gets a decent 3000mAh battery.

Processor and Memory: The OnePlus 3 is powered by a Snapdragon 820 processor with Adreno 530 GPU. The phone comes with a whopping 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage that is not expandable as there’s no microSD slot.

The Nexus 6P on the other hand comes with a generation older Snapdragon 810 processor and Adreno 430 GPU. There’s 3GB of RAM and 32/64/128GB of internal storage. Even this phone does not get a microSD slot.

Camera and Extras: The OnePlus 3 comes with a 16 MP f/2.0 camera with PDAF, OIS, and LED flash. It also gets an 8MP f/2.0 front camera. The Nexus 6P comes with a 12.3MP f/2.0 camera, laser AF, dual tone dual LED flash, and an 8MP f/2.4 front camera.

Both the phones come with USB Type-C, NFC, and fingerprint sensors and run on Android Marshmallow.

Price and Verdict

The Nexus 6P can be bought for a starting price of $500, while you can buy a OnePlus 3 at $399. Of course, the OnePlus flagship offers more value for money, so it should be your ideal choice. But if you are strictly looking for a Nexus phone to get pure Android experience, the Nexus 6P is your best option right now.
