Microsoft seems to be tightening grip for its apps not just on Windows platform, but also on the likes of Android and iOS. Today, the company has introduced a new update which brings some improvement for the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus 3D touch feature.
OneDrive for iOS now stands at version 7.1 and features a new visual style on iPhones and iPads, which Microsoft describes in the official change log as a “slightly new coat of paint.” There’s no going back to the previous style, though.
The highlighting feature of this update is the Peek and Pop support that allows them to preview the contents of any folder stored in the cloud. For example, once you are into OneDrive app, all you need to do is hard press any folder in your account to enable 3D Touch. Thereafter, a preview of what’s inside the folder is shown, letting you check the contents in a glimpse. It would come pretty handy when searching a particular file.
Not just that, Microsoft has also updated the app for better feedback experience. All you need to do is shake your phone within the app to open the feedback form and send a bug or any other problem that you experience to the dev team.
The update is now available for everyone to download and in case you haven’t received the same, go into the app store and do it manually.
