One Piece Chapter 841 was released a few hours ago, meaning that fans are now waiting for the next chapter in the critically acclaimed manga series to arrive. Chapter 841 focused on Sanji’s childhood like how he managed to escape the Germa Kingdom and who Sanji’s mom is. The chapter gave birth to a lot of questions, which fans are eagerly waiting to get answered.

One Piece Chapter 842 Recap
One Piece Chapter 842 starts right from where Chapter 841 left off. We see a little Sanji locked up inside a cell in a dungeon. He is locked up there by no one other than his father. His cruel father also made him wear an iron mask so he can’t yell about things. The reason behind his father locking him up was that he considered him useless as he didn’t become what he expected. He considered him as a normal, useless human being.
Sanji Remembers His Mother
While locked up in that cell, Sanji remembers his mother. One time, Sanji visited his mother who was sick at that time and offered her the food he made. As Sanji was still in early stages of learning how to cook, he brings a not so well cooked dish, which looks disgusting.
Despite the fact that the dish is tasteless and is disgusting looking, Sanji’s mother knows that he mad it with love. So she eats it with a smile on her face, which makes Sanji happy. And to make him even happier, she states that from now on, she will only eat the food Sanji makes. At that time, this made Sanji happy. But while he’s locked up inside the cell, he becomes desperate after thinking her mother wanted to eat the food he made as he can not visit her while locked up.
Sanji’s Mother Is Still Alive?
Now in One Piece Chapter 842, it might be revealed that Sanji only agreed to come to the Germa Kingdom, so he can find out the current condition of his mom. It might turn out to be her mother being still alive.
When Sanji was locked up inside the cell, his brothers came to visit him. Seeing Sanji locked up, his cruel brothers gave him a heavy beating claiming that their father would be pleased and happy to see Sanji getting beaten up. After they’re done beating him and leave, Sanji’s sister, Reiju comes in and treats his injuries. She also tells Sanji that she had to beat him because her brothers would pick on her if she didn’t. So she had to play along with Ichiji, Niji, and Yonji.
After she treats his injuries, Sanji tells Reiju that he wants to become a chef. After hearing that, Reiju helps Sanji escape the kingdom after she sees that everyone else is busy with the ongoing war.
While escaping the kingdom, Sanji once again encounters his father. Instead of capturing him, he lets him go, but on one condition. The condition is that he can never return back to the kingdom and can never be a Vinsmoke.
Afterwards, Sanji reunites with his sister who tells him to stop being a little baby. She tells him that he has to be strong so he can find the people who treat him the way he wants to be treated. Sanji then boards a ship and leaves after an emotional farewell with Reiju.
Reiju To Help Sanji Escape The Wedding
Now, after seeing the soft side of Reiju and her love for Sanji, there is a big chance that she might once again help Sanji escape the Kingdom. She might also be the one to tell Sanji where their mom is.
Luffy Surviving Against Crakcer
At the end of Chapter 841, we get to see Luffy, who is still trying to survive against Cracker. He is seen eating the biscuits Cracker made to attack him. This isn’t surprising considering the fact that its Luffy we’re talking about. In One Piece Chapter 842, we might see Luffy activating Gear 5th against Cracker as he is getting on his nerves now.

One Piece Chapter 842 will be released some time in next week. The chapter will finally reveal the current state of Sanji’s mother and what her Sister will do this time to help him escape the kingdom.
