Nubia brand owned by ZTE has just launched a new smartphone offering in India by the name Nubia M2 Lite. The smartphone carries a price tag of Rs. 13,999 and will be available on Amazon India starting 12 PM tomorrow. It will be interesting to see if the new smartphone can take the fight in the already crowded segment.

Just to remind, the same smartphone was first launched in China couple of months with Android 7.0 Nougat. However, this one boots Android 6.0 Marshmallow in India out of the box.

The Nubia M2 Lite comes with a 5.5-Inch HD display with 2.5D curved glass sheet on top. It is powered by MediaTek Helio P10 octa-core chipset with 4 Gigs of RAM. In case you are a heavy gamer, it’s better to look in another direction since the SoC isn’t meant for it. There is 32 GB of onboard storage with micro-SD card support up to 128 Gigabytes. On the connectivity front, Nubia M2 Lite supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and USB OTG.

Coming to the camera department, Nubia notes that M2 Lite features Neovision 6.5, which enables a “strong multifunctional” camera. On the rear end, you will find a 13 MP shooter with f/2.2 aperture. The selfie game is on with 16 MP front sensor with 5P lens, f/2.0 aperture, and 79.8-degree wide angle.

As far as dimensions are concerned, the Nubia M2 measures 155.73 x 76.73 x 7.68 mm and tips the weighing scale at 164 grams.
