Besides all their key selling features, Nomu also touts its latest S-series rugged smartphone (S10, S20, and S30) as capable of operating in temperature as low as -20-degree and as high as 55-degree. But because not too many among us would be interested in taking it on ourselves to verify the authenticity of the company’s claim, Nomu itself put together a video to demonstrate that the said devices are indeed capable of operating even under the worsts of adverse conditions.

As you will see in the video below, all three S-series handsets are trapped inside a large ice cake for a day-and-a-half. When they were taken out at the end of the 36th hour, all three appeared to have little or no change whatsoever in terms of performance.

As for the specs, the Nomu S10 comes equipped with 5-inch HD IPS display MTK 6737T SoC, 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM, expandable storage, 5000 mAh battery, and 8MP primary camera. Compared to that, the more powerful and slightly more expensive Nomu S20 MTK 6737T SoC, 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM, expandable storage, 5-inch display, 5000 mAh battery, and 8MP primary camera.

Nomu S30, the highest-end handset in the Nomu S-series carries a 5.5-inch FHD display, Helio P10 SoC, 4GB RAM, 64GB ROM, expandable storage, 13MP primary camera, and 5000 mAh battery.

On a related note, the third party CM13 ROM will be shortly rolled out to Nomu S30 users.
