Nokia is all set to make a comeback into the smartphone world by 2017 and there is no denying it. Naturally, the rumors pertaining to their first smartphone have started gaining steam. Nokia D1C(Rumored) initially speculated to be a 5.5-inch smartphone appeared on GFXBench as a 13.8-inch tablet. That might have been an error, but it created a lot of confusion. And now, the latest round of rumors speculate two hardware variants different in screen size, RAM and what not.
The leak source reports that one version will house a 5-inch Full HD display with 2 GB of RAM and 13 MP rear shooter, while the other variant will feature 5.5-inch Full HD display with 3 Gigabytes of RAM and 16 MP rear camera unit.
As far as other specs are concerned, both the version will incorporate 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset, Adreno 505 GPU, 8MP front-facing camera sensor and Android Nougat 7.0.
On a side note, these specs are similar to what appeared on Geekbench and Antutu some days ago. As far as the release date is concerned, there is no clarity, but Nokia might drop the ball at MWC 2017 in February.
Let’s wait and see what Nokia has in store for us in the coming months.
