A new update has been released by Google for its Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P smartphones which are said to fix a few bugs and improve the overall performance of these two smartphones. The update comes after a recent security update rolled out by Google earlier this months.
The updates have been released for Nexus 5X with build number MHC19J and all 6P having MHC19I build. After this update, Nexus 5X devices which are running Android 6.0.1 will get a new quick toggle for cool color temperature accessible from the developer settings. The new update aims at eliminating general slow/sluggish performance, improves Bluetooth/WiFi features, fixes bugs arising from the use of phones bought on contracts from various carriers. And above all it removes issues coming from the do not disturb feature of inbuilt alarm app.
Nexus 6P with build MHC19I will receive more or less similar improvements after the new update. This 5.7-inch device with an all aluminum body also suffered from the same list of bugs and thankfully it will also fix the bugs with DND of next alarm. The new update is improving the general performance of the smartphone along with some added improvements to wireless connectivity tools and above all, this new update will fix all those USSD bugs from mobile phone Carriers.
Google has also released the latest factory images for Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P on its Developers website. It is expected that OTA (over-the-air) updates will soon be made available. Google has also released Android N developer preview for some Nexus devices yesterday before its final release scheduled somewhere in Q3 of 2016.
