It has been awhile since OUKITEL officially introduced the next-generation OUKITEL K3, aimed primarily at business users. We have already seen the renderings of the device which give the impression that the much-anticipated handset comes with certain distinct similarities with the design of the Sony Xperia XZ lineup. And for the first ever time, the Chinese firm has rolled out a new official video online to demonstrate the design and other aspects of the actual OUKITEL K3. Scroll below to watch the full video.
For the uninitiated, the OUKITEL K3 comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display featuring SHARP LCD and Asahi glass for touchscreen. The handset will be available in two colors: brilliant blue and jet black. As you can see in the video below, both color variants boast a glossy design on the front, as well as on the battery cover.
It looks like OUKITEL has used IML craft techniques to make the back cover similar to glass, but without compromising on the sturdiness the device otherwise boasts. As a result, not only does the K3 look brilliant, but it also feels good in your hands and ensures protection against rough handling.
Under the hood, the handset carries an MT5750T octa-core 1.5 GHz processor, aided by 4GB of RAM and 64GB ROM (expandable). The device comes preloaded with Android 7.0 Nougat and it is powered by a massive 6,000mAh battery. The only disappointing aspect would be that the fingerprint scanner on the home button will only have the ability to unlock the screen. Because the handset is yet to be awarded GMS certification, you won’t be able to use the fingerprint sensor for tasks such as clicking images, receiving phone calls, and such.
The OUKITEL K3 is expected to be available for presales in the first week of September 2017.
