NBA series games are some of the highly anticipating and worldwide popular titles. Recently the NBA 2K18 was revealed and now the Legend Edition Pre-Order details and release dates have been finally revealed. In addition, Take-Two Interactive has chosen Shaquille O’Neil as the NBA 2K18 cover star.
According to the new information about the Legends Edition games, NBA 2K18 will offer two separate Legend Editions. The two new Legend Editions are named as the “Legend Edition Gold” and the “Legend Edition.” The Legend Edition Gold features the Lakers and the regular Legend Edition features the Miami Heat.
The game will be available for all the Pre-Order customers on September 15th, 2017. Fans will be able to buy the regular Legend Edition in $99.99. However, the Legend Edition Gold will be available for purchase in $149.99. Furthermore, the game will be available in both Physical and Digital form. The Physical version of the Legends Edition Gold will be available as a GameStop Exclusive title.
All the Pre-Order fans are in for a massive treat as well this time as they will be able to get some special Shaquille O’Neil memorabilia, the Early Tip-off Access and loads of In-game content. The publisher, Take-Two Interactive has selected Shaquille O’Neil as the NBA 2K18 game cover artist. This is Shaquille’s third time appearing as the cover artist for NBA 2K games. However, it’s Shaquille O’Neil’s first ever appearance on a Legend Edition cover. On both of the Glod and regular Legend Edition covers, Shaquille appears in different kits but in his signature pose. Shaq represents both the Lakers and the Miami Heat teams on the covers.
Shaquille O’Neil is a Hall of Famer and one of the best players’ basketball has ever got. Upon his selection, Shaquille released a statement thanking the take-Two interactive. Following are Shaquille’s words;
“I want to thank NBA 2K for their continuous support of my basketball and broadcast career,” said O’Neal, whose Hall of Fame enshrinement late last year celebrates a storied 19-year career. “I’m excited to be on the cover of the NBA 2K18 Legend Edition and I hope my fans have a blast playing it up big man style and re-creating my most legendary in-game moments!”
