A recent tweet from Motorola India revealed that the Motorola Moto X Play is coming to India shortly. The tweet is about the 3,630 mAh battery that the device will have; Motorola said that it will allow 30 hours of combined usage including calling, photography, internet surfing, playing music, etc. However, remember that the 3,630 mAh battery is not light; it is 10.9mm in thickness and weighs 169 grams.

The Moto X Play comes with a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, 401ppi pixel density, and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The Snapdragon 615 chipset with an octa-core 1.7GHz processor powers the device. It features 2GB of RAM and 32GB of native memory, that can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot. A 21MP camera with an aperture of f/2.0 is placed on the rear, enabling users to shoot the perfect images even without the ideal lighting conditions. For video chats and selfies, the phone has a 5MP front camera. Additionally, the smartphone is protected from light rain and splashes, thanks to the nano-coating technology.
Running Android 5.1 Lollipop, the Moto X Play includes Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, 4G LTE, Edge/GPRS, microUSB 2.0, and GPS for connectivity.

it has been confirmed that the Moto X Play will officially be on sale (on Flipkart) starting September 14th. The well-known retailer has already started the countdown timer on its website.
