Moto X (2017) is one of the forthcoming phones from Lenovo. Its alleged specs and photos had surfaced in the previous month. Now, fresh photos and key specs of the smartphone has surfaced on Weibo.
One of the leaked images of the purported Moto X (2017) suggests that it is driven by Snapdragon 625 chipset and 4 GB of RAM. The native storage of the phone is mentioned as 32 GB. Its model number is mentioned as XT1805. The Moto X (2017) with model number XT1801 that appeared in March has 3 GB of RAM.
Rumors have it that the Moto X (2017) would be packed with a 5.5-inch screen that will carry support for full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. The phone appears to be sporting a full metallic chassis. The rear side of the phone includes a twin camera setup that is coupled with dual LED flash.
According to Roland Quandt, who holds a consistent track record for revealing accurate leaked information on the upcoming phone has revealed that one of the cameras of twin rear-facing camera system is of 13-megapixel. There is a trademark batwing logo below the rear-facing camera. The phone is unlikely to support Moto Mods accessories as there are no connecting pins on the backside of the phone.
The front side of the Moto X (2017) has a selfie camera that is enabled with a LED flash. It has an oblong shaped fingerprint scanner below the display which is similar to the one present on Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus. The top bezel of the phone has a selfie snapper that is enabled with a LED flash and there is a 3.5mm audio jack on the top side of the phone. The bottom part of the phone has features like microphone, microUSB port, and external speaker. Quandt claims that the Moto X (2017) which is codenamed as Sanders 3 GB / 4 GB RAM options and 32 GB / 64 GB storage options.
The leaked specs clearly suggest that the Moto X (2017) will not be a flagship phone, even though the Moto X series phones from 2013 to 2015 have been flagship models. Apart from Moto X (2017), Lenovo is also rumored to announce new phones like Moto C, Moto E4, and Moto Z2.
