Lenovo is expected to launch a new mid-range phone under the Moto brand. The upcoming Moto M is expected to fill the gap between Moto G4 and the Moto Z series. Now, the soon-to-be-launched handset has been spotted on the AnTuTu benchmark website, with a model number XT1662.
The AnTuTu listing also confirmed major specs of the upcoming device. As per the AnTuTu, the Moto M will sport a 5.5-inch display with full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. The Android 6.0 Marshmallow based smartphone will sport a 16MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera.
The mid-range smartphone is expected to launch in China on November 8. It will come with the pre-loaded Microsoft apps. While another variant [without the pre-installed apps] of the handset will be launched in other Asian markets. Both variants are expected to sport a fingerprint scanner on the back along with a 3000mAh battery.
Previous reports claimed that the Moto M will be backed by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 CPU. This will be the second smartphone [after Moto E3 Power] in the Moto series to be powered by a MediaTek processor.
Additionally, a fresh set of Moto M images has been leaked by aWeiboo user in China. As per leaked images, the new smartphone will sport a metal-based shell on the back. It will also be compatible with Moto Mods.
