Motorola has already teased its Moto G4 (4th Gen) in its official Twitter account and we know that the phone is going to be launched soon. Moto G 2016 is expected to come with exciting new features and is expected to get launched in June.
According to an IBTimes report, Yang Yuanging, CEO of Lenovo, had announced that they would be launching an exciting new Moto device on 9th June, and it is possible that this might be the 4th Gen Moto G. Lenovo is holding another event in India on 17th May, but we don’t know whether the next generation Moto G will get launched on that event.
Some previous tweets from Moto India suggest that the Moto G4 is coming with a better security system. It is being said that the phone might come with a fingerprint scanner, which has now become a common feature across expensive as well as budget smartphones. Also, the G4 will come with a larger battery for more talktime and usage through the day.
The memory capacity of the 4th Gen Moto G is also rumored to see a bump. The Moto G 3rd Gen comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB storage or 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. We might see the Moto G4 feature 3GB of RAM along with 32GB of storage. Better camera specs are also expected as teased by Moto India on Twitter. We expect a 16MP rear camera.
A Tech Radar report says that the Moto G4 might be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor. There might be another variant called Moto G4 Plus, and both the phones could come with 5.5″ FullHD screens.
Nothing else can be said right now as the launch event is not much far away. Still, we expect more teasers from Moto and more leaks from around the web before the phone is officially unveiled. So stay tuned for more updates.
