Minecraft: Pocket Edition currently has an alpha test going on that enables players to access Minecraft Realms. This is the first time Realms is being added to the Pocket Edition of the game, and Mojang has clarified that this will enable cross-platform play between the iOS, Android, Windows Phone and Windows 10 editions of Minecraft.
For those of you not in the know, Minecraft Realms is essentially a paid server service, allowing players to access Realms worlds that can be accessed by a limited group of people. Mojang has not yet announced pricing plans for Realms, but has stated that Xbox Live logins will be required to access Realms. You will not, however, require an Xbox Live Gold subscription to use the service.
The free alpha is currently live for Android users, and can be enabled by going here. You will require a copy of Minecraft: Pocket Edition purchased from the Google Play Store, of course.
