Microsoft unveiled its latest smartphone Lumia 640 and bigger Lumia 640 XL at the MWC 2015 earlier this month. Both the smartphones are now available for pre-order in UK at Microsoft official website.
The Lumia 640 is priced at £170, while the bigger one costs £219. The smartphones will be available starting April 28th. Recently, the Lumia 640 XL was put for pre-order in Germany too.
The Lumia 640 sports a 5 inch HD LCD screen with protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 400 SoC with quad-core 1.2GHz processor, paired with 1GB of RAM. It packs 8GB internal storage (expandable via microSD), 8 megapixel rear shooter with LED flash, 1 megapixel front camera, a 2,500 mAh battery and DLNA support.
The bigger Lumia 640 XL built with a 5.7 inch HD LCD display with ClearBlack technology. The smartphone is powered with the same chipset as the Lumia 640. However, the smartphone offers a rapid increment in terms of camera, where it features a 13 megapixel rear snapper with Carl Zeiss f/2.0 optics along with a 5 megapixel front shooter. The Lumia 640 XL packs 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB in-built memory (expandable) and a 3,000 mAh battery.
