Microsoft Lumia 550, an upcoming Windows-based mid-ranger, has leaked in new official-looking press renders. The leaker @evleaks is a reliable source and has leaked many upcoming devices in the past with correct details. Also, the new leaked image is in line with the previous renders where we have seen the mid-ranger in four colour options – Red, Blue, Black, and White.
As leaked earlier, the Lumia 550 is built around a 4.7-inch HD (720p) AMOLED display with a pixel density of 312ppi. Under the hood, you will find the Snapdragon 210 chip with 1.1GHz quad-core processor and Adreno 304 GPU. It packs 8GB of expandable internal storage space, and 1 gig of RAM.
Powered by Windows 10 Mobile out-of-the-box, the Microsoft Lumia 550 features a 5-megapixel primary shooter along with 2-megapixel selfie camera. A 1950 mAh battery powers the handset. The phone is said to support on-screen keys and 4G LTE connectivity and will be available in Black Polycarbonate,and Glossy White colour options.
Microsoft is hosting an event on October 6th, where it will announce the eagerly-expected flagship phones, the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL. It is quite possible that Lumia 550 may also get unveiled in the same event.
