The much awaited Microsoft flagships are now finally announced in India. Yes, we are talking about the Microsoft Lumia 950 and the Lumia 950 XL. These smartphones are the first ever devices from Microsoft that will run Windows 10 out of the box.
The Lumia 950 features a 5.2-inch Quad HD AMOLED display. It comes with a Snapdragon 808 processor along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage capacity which can be expanded to 200GB via microSD card slot. Fueled with a 3,000mAh battery, the device sports USB Type-C with fast charging and wireless charging. The Lumia 950 XL has mostly the same specifications but comes with a larger 5.7-inch display and Snapdragon 810 processor, as well as a larger 3,340mAh battery.
Both devices have on the rear side a 20MP Carl Zeiss Lens with AF and triple LED flash for elegant photography along with a 5MP front-facing snapper. The Lumia 950 as well as the 950 XL come with dual-SIM support.
Microsoft is also offering a Display Dock for free along with the purchase of any of the smartphones. This enables the user to turn their Lumia flagship into a full blown Windows 10 computer, publicized as the Continuum feature. Users can even run the apps available for the Windows 10 on PC using this feature.
The Lumia 950 is priced at INR 43,699 ($654) while the Lumia 950 XL is priced at INR 49,699 ($743).
