The Indian mobile manufacturing company Micromax has increased its Bolt lineup with Bolt A79. The smartphone is launched in India and Russia for the price of INR 3,999 ($65) and 3,450 Russian Rubel ($56) respectively. In India, the device will go on sale through Saholic, whereas in Russia, it is listed on the company’s official store.
The Micromax Bolt A79 comes with a 4 inch WVGA display and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box. The device is powered by a MediaTek MT6572 chipset with dual-core 1GHz processor. It packs 512MB of RAM and 4GB internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD, if needed.
A 1,450 mAh battery power on the handset and gives up to 5 hrs talk-time and 200 hours standby time. The Bolt A79 features a mere 2 megapixel rear camera with flash, and a VGA for selfies.
The Micromax Bolt A79 supports dual-SIM functionality and includes Bluetooth 3.0, microUSB, GPS, Wi-Fi, and 3G for connectivity. The device also offers few pre-installed applications like Mi games, Opera Mini, Clean master, and Mi Live.
