Without much thrust or publicity, Micromax has launched its next entry level 4G enabled smartphone the Canvas Pace 4G.
The handset first appeared on the Micromax’s website and is now up for sale on eBay. Priced at 6891 INR, the key feature of the handset is the CAT 4 connectivity with the download speed of up to 150 Mbps and upload speed of about 50 Mbps.
The Canvas Pace 4G features a 12.7cm (5-inch) FWVGA IPS screen with screen resolution of 480 854 pixels. It has a 1.1 GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor sided with Arena GPS. The phone packs 1GB of RAM along with 8GB of internal storage expandable up to 32GB using micro SD card slot.
The Micromax Canvas Pace 4G sports a 5MP autofocus primary shooter with LED flash along with a 2MP front snapper for selfies. It is powered by a 2500mAh battery, claimed to deliver talk-time of up to 9hrs. Android OS 5.1.1 Lollipop comes pre-installed.
The Canvas Pace 4G doesn’t seem to deliver the best at the price it is available for and might face heavy competition with other handsets like the Redmi 2 and Yu Yuphoria.
