Micromax today launched a new mid-ranged smartphone in India. Dubbed as Micromax Canvas Mega (E353), the phone comes with dual-SIM dual standby support, and is priced at Rs. 8,320. It will be available for purchase in Slate Grey color option, exclusively on Flipkart.
The Canvas Mega is 3G enabled smartphone, and is built around a 5.5-inch display with HD resolution. Powered by an octa-core 1.4GHz processor, it features 1GB of RAM along with 8GB built-in storage with expandable support up to 32GB.
Running Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box, the Canvas Mega (E353) packs a 13-megapixel primary camera along with a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter. The phone is juiced up by a 2820 mAh battery. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB, Hotspot, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS with A-GPS and FM Radio.
Few days ago, the company also released Bolt Q332 for tight budget customers. Priced at Rs. 5,249, it features entry-level specs including 512MB of RAM, 2GB built-in storage, a 5MP rear camera, a 2MP selfie shooter, and a 5-inch touchscreen display.
If you are a Micromax fan, you can choose either of device on coming festival season, depending on your budget. It is worth mentioning that if you are not stick to the brand, there are several better options including YU Yureka Plus, and Lenovo K3 Note. In low price category, you can check out the 4G-ready Lenovo A2010 or YU Yunique.
