Meizu is one of the biggest players in the Chinese smartphones and now the company is trying to make it big in other markets including the US market. Meizu hasn’t unveiled its much awaited 2016 flagship Meizu Pro 6 or Meizu MX6 and the market is abuzz with the rumours surrounding the device.
In a new leak, the concept image renders of this upcoming device have been published in the official Meizu forum by a user who claims that the device will look exactly as he has proposed.
These renders show the device with a curved display and a dual-edge form factor. The display is, however, stretched over the top and the bottom side which gives it a different look than Galaxy S7 edge’s display. Rumours also suggest a POLED flexible display which would be made up of plastic but nothing is confirmed yet.
The company hasn’t revealed much except for some teasers which show that the Meizu Pro 6 will have a 3D Touch display much like that in iPhone 6s. It will be powered by a deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 chipset along with Mali-T880 GPU. The phone will sport 3GB or 4GB of RAM and will have 32 GB internal memory but this is yet to be confirmed. The device is expected to come with Android Marshmallow with Flyme OS on top.
The Meizu Pro 6 is expected to come around May and we just can’t wait to lay our hands on this device and the Company is expected to reveal more details as the launch date nears. Till then, stay tuned for more news and info and do leave your comments below.
