As confirmed earlier, Chinese smartphone maker Meizu has launched the M2 smartphone in India at Rs. 6,999. The phone will be available for purchase starting October 12th.
Specs-wise, the Meizu m2 features a 5-inch High Definition screen protected by Asahi Dragontrail glass. Running Android 5.1 Lollipop with Flyme UI 4.5, the phone packs 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which is further expandable up to 144GB via microSD card. In case you don’t require microSD, the slot can be used for second SIM.
The Meizu M2 is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek MT6735 chipset with a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and Mali T720 GPU. The connectivity options on the phone include Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, GPS with A-GPS, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, and microUSB.
When it comes to photography, the newly launched Meizu m2 offers a 13-megapixel rear camera with a f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter with f/2.0 aperture.
Apart from the new smartphone launch, the company has also promised to set up 46 service centers in 33 main cities to provide the smooth servicing all over the India.
