Today not only Gionee Elife E8 is launched but also Marathon M5 at  Gionee’s event in Beijing China. Both the phones will have separate clientele with Elife E8 will woo camera enthusiasts whereas Marathon M5 will satisfy the desires of power hungry users.

Like Marathon M3, this will also be providing a huge power to the smartphone with 6000mAh battery capacity divided into twin batteries which can last for 96 hours. With an innovative feature of battery conservation, it can increase the standby time of phone at 5 percent to 62 hours. Also one can use Marathon M5 to charge their other devices through reverse charging technology.

Running on Android Lollipop, Marathon M5 has dual Sim capability with 4G LTE connectivity on both sim slots. It sports a 5.5 inch HD AMOLED display with 720×1280 resolution, 64-bit 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735SoC with 2GB of RAM and 16GB onboard storage. It features 13MP rear snapper and a 5MP selfie shooter.
