LG has finally launched its much-anticipated phablet, LG Stylus 2 Plus in India. The device had been all over the news for a while now and the LG fans in India had been very eagerly waiting for this device which promises to provide functionalities similar to Samsung Note-Series and that too at almost half the price.
LG Stylus 2 Plus sports a more or less similar design and form-factor as its predecessor, LG Stylus 2. In terms of specs, the Stylus 2 Plus sports a 5.7-inch IPS FHD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor clocked at 1.4GHz. The Indian variant of the Stylus 2 Plus offers 3GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage which can be further upgraded up to 200GB via microSD card. The device packs a 3000 mAh battery which is thankfully removable and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
In the camera department, the Stylus 2 Plus offers a 16MP primary rear shooter and an 8MP front-facing camera; there are LED light modules on both the front and rear. Among other connectivity options, there is 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1.
The LG Stylus 2 Plus Stylus Pen comes with a nano-coated tip which provides more accuracy than the rubber-coated tip. Other interesting features include Pen Pop which immediately opens a pop-up menu showing various shortcuts like Quick Memo, Off Memo, etc. as soon as the stylus pen is removed from the bay. There are other very handy features like Pen Keeper which reminds the users if the pen is not in the stylus bay.

With the new LG Stylus 2 Plus, consumer experience shall be a delight with some innovative features such as Pen Pop, which shall enable Instant access to all pen functions, Pop Scanner, which shall enable picture editing like never before, Screen-Off Memo, using which users can write Memos on phone screen without the need to wake up the phone, Pen Keeper, that alerts the user when they forget to place the stylus back after use and many more.”
