Well if that is true, which seems probable, then LG will surely sell the device at a killer price. And they will, as the specs that the device carries at the price are really affirming. The LG Nexus 5X gets a 5.2-inch 1080p display with a Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor under the hood, supported by 2GB RAM. The aforementioned CPU has been confirmed by a lot of sources, while the amount of RAM is the same as the last year’s LG Nexus 5.
The LG Nexus 5X was spotted on Geekbench with those specs. However, we still have to wait for Google to spill the beans and reveal the phone and confirm the specifications, because early benchmarks are known to test out pre-release prototypes before the hardware is confirmed. These Geekbench scores have been taken on 23rd September and was running Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Though the software may be changed at the last minute, but the processor and RAM will probably remain the same.
As for the scores, the LG Nexus 5X scores 1,000 on single-core and 2,900 on multi-core tests, which is really very disappointing going by the standards that the Nexus devices are known for. Even the LG G4 with Snapdragon 808 and 3GB of RAM performs better on Geekbench than the Nexus 5X. So, will the Nexus 5X be able to amaze us? Well, there’s little hope, so let’s wait for the phone to release.
