All the major Android smartphone manufacturers are busy updating their Marshmallow schedules and rolling out the Android 6.0 update for yesteryear flagships. Among those companies, LG has been very active in announcing and rolling out the Android Marshmallow update for its phones. The current flagships LG G4 has already started receiving the Marshmallow update, and now it’s time we turned our attention towards other LG smartphones. Let’s talk about the LG G3 Marshmallow update.

The LG G3 is around two years old, but it is eligible for the Android 6.0 update. For those who don’t know, Verizon has already rolled out the Marshmallow update for LG G3, and the update should reach all the G3 users on the network soon. Initial reports suggested that the international variant of the LG G3 would be getting Marshmallow on March 14th. But if we believe the recent report from sources, the international variant may not take a longer time and should get the Android 6.0 update in February itself.

Talking about the more recent LG V10, we had already reported more than a week ago that T-Mobile has officially confirmed the LG V10 Marshmallow update by including the phone in its Marshmallow schedule. Though no timeframe has been confirmed, the V10 Marshmallow update is highly likely to roll-out along with the LG G3. So probably we will see the update by the end of this month.

Talking about the LG G Flex 2, the device has been included in the confirmed list of LG smartphones that would be getting the Marshmallow update. Unfortunately, no specific dates have been given either by LG or the tipsters, so at best we can expect the update for the phone by next month.
