Just two days ago, we reported that the LeTV will launch its first smartphone (probably the Le 1S) in India on January 5, but now it will happen sometime in the middle of next month. The news is directly coming from the company’s fan meetup in the Bengaluru.
The company confirmed that the LeTV Le Max will be the first device to get a launch in India. The phone will be showcased during the January 5th event, which is scheduled to be held in the country’s capital city New Delhi. Some other smartphones will also be announced during the event, LeTV confirmed. Possibly, the Le 1S might be one of those other smartphones, but obviously, it will be confirmed at the event only.
As far as the Le Max is concerned, the smartphone sports a huge 6.33-inch display with 1440×2560 pixel resolution. Powered by the powerful Snapdragon 810 chipset, it packs 4GB of RAM along with 32/64/128GB of internal storage options. Android 5.0 Lollipop comes pre-installed. It is juiced by a 3,400mAh battery.
Photography lovers will be amused by a 21-megapixel rear shooter and a 4-UltraPixel front-facing camera. The LeTV Le Max measures 167.1×83.5×8.95mm and weighs around 204g. A fingerprint sensor is also available on the device.
