The Lenovo Vibe P1, K3 Note, and A7000 had received their Marshmallow updates last month in India. And now its time for another Vibe smartphone to get the new Android flavor. The Lenovo Vibe S1 Android 6.0 Marshmallow update is now rolling out in India. The news was confirmed on Twitter by Anuj Sharma, Head of Product and Marketing at Lenovo India.
Of course, the Marshmallow update for the Lenovo Vibe S1 has come very late and just a month before Google unveils its next major Android update, the Android N. But then again, it’s better late than never, and at least Lenovo is giving out the updates while most Chinese manufacturers do not concentrate on that part.

If you are using a Vibe S1 in India, which is probably the most beautiful Lenovo smartphone, you will soon get an update notification once the update reaches your device. You will then be able to download and install the new update on your phone. In case you haven’t received the notification yet, you can go to Settings in your phone and check for the update manually in the Software Update section.
The Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for the Lenovo Vibe S1 measures 1.6GB reportedly, so make sure that you are on a speedy WiFi network before you start downloading.
