Lenovo‘s achievement of having the highest-capacity battery on a commercial smartphone speaks to the demand for longer battery life in electronics gadgets. The latest to be added in its mobile phones is the Lenovo Vibe P1. The phone is now up for pre-orders on Amazon for $359.99, and will be shipped starting next month.
Backed with a high–powered 5,000 mAh battery, the Vibe P1 is headed to create quite a ruckus in the smartphone segment. The specifications are not ordinary and are bound to capture the attention of many.
With a 5.5-inch LCD screen and a 1080 x 1920 FHD resolution, you should be able to get a grandstand play. The Lenovo Vibe P1 is endowed with the Snapdragon 615 CPU inside a chassis, carrying an octa-core 1.5GHz CPU and the Adreno 405 GPU. It has 2GB of RAM along with 32GB of native storage, while extra memory can be obtained via the use of the handset’s 128GB capacity microSD slot. It also has a 5 MP selfie camera, and a 16 MP primary camera made up of a six piece modular lens that also includes a full-frame 16:9 low-light sensor for nighttime shooting.
The Lenovo Vibe P1 has a thickness of 9.9 mm and weighs 189 grams, owing to its 5,000 mAh battery. It takes about an hour to charge about 67% and almost two hours to reach the 100% mark. On the mobile security front, the finger print scanner is unique and unlocks the phone in half a second. The Vibe P1 also supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1 and USB connectivity.
