The new Lenovo Vibe P1 and Vibe P1m, that had been previously dubbed as the Lenovo Vibe P1 and P1 Pro respectively, have been announced officially.
As we have already observed, the P-series of Lenovo smartphones carry huge batteries and thus boast of record-breaking battery lives. The Lenovo Vibe P1 and P1m aren’t any different. The bigger Lenovo VIBE P1 is secure and productive, and carries a mammoth 5000 mAh battery that will give you a battery life of up to 81 hours (or three days) with normal usage!
The Vibe P1 is wrapped in a chassis made of metal and glass and measures 152.9 x 75.6 x 4.6-9.9 mm. The weight of the smartphone is on the heavier side at 189g, though this is expected from a phone with a big battery and a metal casing. Lenovo Vibe P1 boasts of a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS-LCD screen and the phone is powered by Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor by Qualcomm. The device comes with a 2 GB RAM and 32 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded up to 128 GB. It also has a 13 MP rear camera, a rapid charger and a fingerprint scanner.
Meanwhile, the Lenovo Vibe P1m is smaller than the P1 at 141 x 71.8 x 9.3mm, and carries a 5-inch HD screen. The processing is handled by a 64-bit MediaTek MT6735P quad-core CPU coupled with 2 GB of RAM. The device has 16 GB of internal memory, with a microSD card slot for storage expansion. The Vibe P1m sports an 8 MP camera and houses a 4000 mAh battery. It also comes with an interesting and advanced nano-coating technology by P2i, which protects the it against spills and splashes.
The Lenovo Vibe P1 and its 5000 mAh battery will be sold in Graphite Grey and Platinum, while the Vibe P1m comes in Pearl White and Onyx Black. Both the devices will be released later this year, with the prices for the P1m starting at $159. As of now, that is all the information we have!
