Two days ago, Lenovo revealed via the Lenovo India Twitter handle that it will be launching the Lenovo P2 in India on January 11. Lenovo today launched the much-anticipated Lenovo P2 smartphone in India. The phone is affordable and comes in both 3GB and 4GB variants.
Lenovo P2 specs and features
Lenovo P2 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with octa-core 2.0GHz Cortex A53 CPU and Adreno 506 GPU. Lenovo P2 comes with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, expandable up to 256 GB via micro-SD card. The phone features a 5.5-inch 1080×1920 full-HD super AMOLED capacitive display and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. As for the camera, Lenovo P2 sports a 13MP primary camera with phase detection autofocus, dual-LED flash and a 5MP front camera for selfies.
Lenovo P2 comes with a front-mounted fingerprint sensor along with other standard sensors – accelerometer, proximity and gyro. The phone supports GSM/HSPA/LTE network. Lenovo P2 offers support for Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, NFC, microUSB v2.0 and USB On-The-Go.
Lenovo P2 is fueled by whopping 5100mAh battery
What sets Lenovo P2 apart is its 5100mAh battery. Most flagship premium smartphones that are available today come with battery rating in the range 3000-4000mAh. It’s quite interesting to see the 5.5-inch display, affordable feature-packed Lenovo P2 coming with a battery that the company claims will last for three days of usage. The phone comes with a 24W fast charger.
Lenovo P2 price and availability
Lenovo P2 will be available in India starting tonight. The phone will be made available exclusively on Flipkart. The 3GB RAM variant is priced at INR 16,999 and the 4GB RAM variant is priced at INR 17,999.
