Late last month, the device carrying the codename XT-1662 (Lenovo Moto M) passed through TENAA certification test. Now, the rumor mill has revealed leaked photos of the same smartphone. It has a smaller sibling too that sports a similar design. The smaller variant has a model number of XT-1663. The larger model is dubbed as Moto M Plus by the rumor mill.
The Moto M is assumed to fall under midrange category. It is expected to come with full metal body. The leaked images show the smartphone does not come with physical home button. As far as design is concerned, it appears to be stylish, Techdroider reported.
Lenovo Moto M Plus Specifications and Features
The TENAA listing revealed that the Lenovo Moto M Plus will come with 5.5-inch screen with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. It will be powered by 2.1 GHz MediaTek MT6755 chipset.
The device will have 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB internal storage. It will be running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box while the upgrade to Android 7.0 Nougat will be followed up soon.
It will sport a 16-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front facing camera. The device includes fingerprint sensor that will be placed below the rear camera. It will come packed with battery capacity of 3,000 mAh.
Lenovo is expected to unveil Moto M Plus and its smaller variant together. The smaller Moto M was earlier spotted on GFXBench with the code name XT-1663. Some of the specifications of the upcoming handset has been revealed.
The smaller variant of smartphone is expected to come with 4.6-inch display. It will be powered by 1.9 GHz MediaTek MT6750 processor. Similar to larger Moto M, it is likely to come with full metal body and the home button is not included on this device either.
