This past weekend gaming journalism took a step back. Most places reported a completely made up story that was simply click bait. It was regarding The Legend Of Zelda Breath Of The Wild. The original poster of the so called “rumor” was completely made to make journalists look bad. And show that most create their articles and videos after simply reading the title without checking sources.

No The Legend Of Zelda Breath Of The Wild has not been canceled on the Wii U

The main reason we called fake on that “The Legend Of Zelda Breath Of The Wild Wii U being canceled” was due to the fact that the “news” for that came out not even a day after Yooka-Laylee was canceled for Wii U in favor of the Switch. Not only that; they even stated the exact same reasoning for it.

Nintendo didn’t come out and say it. What reason would they have to keep it a secret? You could tell the Yooka-Laylee thing was real because the developers came right out and said it. A lot of people heard this “news” on review tech USA. He said rumor but then talked as if it was true. He believes it is true, and boy does Nintendo suck. The guy’s whole channel is built on negativity.

Unless Nintendo OFFICIALLY says Breath of the Wild is canceled, we’ll believe it. But as of now, Nintendo didn’t say anything. So, it’s not real. Use your common sense. We just don’t understand why people are following this crap if Nintendo themselves didn’t announce it.
